- craft doesn’t always mean visual. i think of craft as execution with care
- designers don’t need the same strengths. i love that we each bring a different way of seeing
- many designers i admire came from architecture, computer science, engineering, economics, cognitive science, finance, or fine art. a team is better for this range of perspectives and lived experiences
- i deeply appreciate a good design education and the visual fluency it can cultivate. it’s one path into design, not the definition of a designer
