Top This and Other Parables of Design: Selected Writings
Phil Patton
I bought this from the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum while with CGK, CAP, and C's two friends.
The first essay of this book is about possums. Possums? Yes, possums: those stringy, mangy rodents that call the American south home. Why possums? Well, Phil Patton highlights possumry as a subject of great study.
Diving so deep into the contents of one subject that you allow it's idiosyncrasies and nuances to ooze into nooks and crannies and crevices of that soft tissue you call brain. There's a word I'm looking for. The taxonomy of things? I forget. It's 12:52AM.
